Welcoming Three New Board Members to Baby Bundles

We are thrilled to welcome three outstanding new members to the Baby Bundles Board of Directors: Cristina Buckfelder, Hannah McAfee, and Jeff Rapaglia. Each began their four-year term on January 1, 2026, and brings a unique blend of professional expertise, personal passion, and deep commitment to families in our community.

Cristina Buckfelder has called Charlotte home for the past 15 years, after growing up in High Point, North Carolina. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Marketing, Cristina also holds an MBA from High Point University. She spent more than a decade working in marketing and public relations across industries ranging from telecommunications to nonprofit organizations. Today, Cristina dedicates her time to raising her three children—Charlotte, Robert, and William—and is deeply involved in their schools, her church, and the broader community. Her background in communications and her heart for service make her a valuable addition to the board.

Hannah McAfee brings both professional and personal experience in caring for young children and supporting families. Originally from Decatur, Alabama, she studied Elementary Education at the University of Mississippi and spent several years as a full-time nanny after moving to Charlotte in 2018. Hannah and her husband, P.J., welcomed their son Callum in 2023 and Hinton this February. In addition to staying home with her growing family, Hannah remains actively engaged in the community through volunteer work and her role on the Hoff Family Charitable Foundation board. Her compassion for mothers and young children aligns closely with the mission of Baby Bundles, and she is eager to help strengthen connections and expand our reach.

Jeff Rapaglia joins the board with deep expertise in accounting and auditing. As a financial expert with background is assurance services, Jeff has led efforts to enhance audit methodology, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and provide guidance on complex financial matters. He is also an active leader in the profession, contributing to national organizations such as the Center for Audit Quality and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Originally from Boston, Jeff moved to Charlotte in 2015 with his wife, Irene, and their two daughters, Isabella and Abigail. His strategic insight and governance experience will be instrumental as Baby Bundles continues to grow and strengthen its impact.
