Celebrating Our 2026 Volunteers of the Year
On September 30, 2026, at this year’s Beans & Bundles, we were thrilled to honor two volunteers whose dedication has made a real difference for new moms in our community. Our 2026 Individual Volunteer of the Year is Jeannie Sovine, and our Volunteer Group of the Year is Elevation Church!
Individual Volunteer of the Year: Jeannie Sovine
Jeannie volunteers with us every single week. Over the past year, she has joined us at our warehouse and off-site events more than 30 times. We estimate that this year alone, Jeannie has lifted 1,000 bins (each weighing 30 pounds), restocked our shop room with more than 10,000 items, and stamped more than 3,000 mailers. Beyond the numbers, Jeannie brings a joyful and loving spirit every time she walks through our doors. Jeannie, congratulations, and THANK YOU!

Volunteer Group of the Year: Elevation Church
Our partnership with Elevation Church began last year when John Nichols, who leads Elevation’s work with us, reached out with a simple question: “How can we help close the gap, so that every new mom gets one of these?” In the seven months since that call, Elevation has hosted 5 events with more than 1,000 volunteers, bundling 40,000 items into 1,000 bundles. We love working with John and the entire Elevation team. THANK YOU!
